The Role

FSX is actively seeking a leader for our consulting practice who brings a wealth of experience in Industry X.0, especially around automation of industrial processes, primarily led by digital technologies and emerging areas like Physical AI, Gen AI, quantum computing, etc. You will play a cross-functional role, driving our research and consulting engagements pertaining to investment decisions around digital technologies in industrial operations, providing in-depth analysis, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations.

Your expertise will also contribute to the development of our intelligence platform alongside the acquisition and servicing of our consulting projects. Overall, this is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role, offering the candidate an opportunity to build FSX’s consulting practice in Industrial AI from the outset, working in proximity with the organization’s senior leadership.

To successfully deliver in this role, prior knowledge and familiarity with one or more of the following sectors is essential - [high-tech manufacturing like semiconductors, electronics, heavy industries like power, chemicals, O&G, and other industrial businesses]

The successful candidate for the role will be based out of FSX’s Netherlands or Singapore office.

Responsibilities

Research and Analysis:

• Lead research efforts for evaluating use cases for novel digital technologies like AI/ML techniques, robotics, advanced sensing, in high-tech manufacturing and heavy industries.
• Develop and maintain research models, methodologies, and frameworks, coach and mentor junior team
  members in developments linked to digital solutions.
• Represent FSX at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops, establishing the
  company as a thought leader in the field.

Client Engagement:

• Lead business development activities by writing proposals and showcasing FSX’s research capabilities to new
  prospects.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in FSX’s commercial and marketing teams for lead generation, and
  pipeline development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor in digital transformation. 

Product Development:

• Support internal ideation and brainstorming for novel intelligence platform concepts, and market validation
  efforts.
• Collaborate with the extended product team in developing a product business case, initial wireframes, and
  subsequent product pilots.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a science-related field/economics with at least 8-10 years of experience in digital solutions with
  direct exposure to market advisory or management consulting.
• Prior knowledge and familiarity with one or more of the following sectors- high-tech manufacturing, like
  semiconductors, electronics, heavy industries like power, chemicals, O&G, and other industrial businesses.
• Proven experience as an analyst or consultant with exposure to business development activities like proposal
  writing, lead generation, marketing support, etc.
• Strong storytelling and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Proficiency in team management and direct experience in a startup environment is a plus.
